What to expect at the Autosport show?
Now is your chance to immerse yourself in the best of autosport for 2020 and beyond at Europe’s biggest motorsport show. We’re excited to be at the Birmingham NEC to be part of what is always the most exciting show of the year, packed with the latest motorsport news, engineering innovations, autosport celebs and exciting new product launches from the biggest marques in the sport.
Anyone who’s anyone hits the mean streets of Birmingham UK to check out the very latest in technology and design and meet some motorsport celebs. This is a multilevel celebration of everything that’s great about motorsport as the event explores the past, present and future of all things piston head related.
Industry professionals primarily use the show for networking and sourcing new products. It’s a great way to keep up with what’s happening in motorsport and stay ahead of every curve. When the doors open to the public on January 11 and 12, it’s the ultimate opportunity for piston heads to enjoy some very cool fast cars and big stars. If you want to feel the adrenaline rush of getting up close and personal with the 1000 gleaming speed machines on display, you can do it all at the biggest Performance & Tuning Car Show.
Who is at Autosport 2020?
Apart from the team at Racing Edge, there’s an incredible roster of talent and exhibitors for fans to enjoy. Check out everything from the new Ford Focus race car to the latest in tool and bearing technology. Synthetic oils specialist Motul will be exhibiting the sensational Studebaker Silver Hawk classic car on their stand, a triumph of American engineering.
Devotees of F1 will head straight for the RetroFuture show where 70 years of iconic F1 action is celebrated in 5 legendary cars and technologies: the active suspension of the Williams FW14B, the revolutionary monocoque Lotus 49, the totally aero Le Mans winning Jaguar XJ-9, the bespoke Lancia Stratos rally car and the legendary McLaren MP4/4. Expect to see the Racing Edge team admiring these monsters of the race world.
Star drivers like Billy Monger and Jenson Button will appear live on the Autosport Stage to answer all your questions, while the star guest is Monaco’s F1 winner Charles Leclerc who had a breakthrough season in 2019, taking more polls than any other driver. His presence makes January 12 a must-attend day and he’ll be answering all your questions in a live Q and A.
