Season 2 of the Racing Edge SimRacing Series is simmering nicely!

Racing Edge SimRacing Series

Following the success of our inaugural SimRacing Series, Racing Edge presents Season 2: bigger, better, faster!
This time we welcome back the likes of former GT3 Cup champion Daniel Morad, back-to-back race winner Alex Simonic and Formula 3 racer Nicolas Varrone.
The new SimRacing series comprises of an initial eight sprint races across two categories – the Porsche RSR GTE and Porsche 718 GT4 – for cash prizes and championship points. The 10 best drivers from each category then qualify for a ninth race, the Championship Race, where $1,500 will be up for grabs!
In each race, the top three podium places in each category will win cash prizes.
The top 10 finishers in each category will earn championship points. Each race lasts 40 minutes, with a short qualifying session beforehand.
Hosted once again by 2017 Rolex Daytona 24 Hours winner Morad, the SimRacing series takes place on the iRacing platform in conjunction with broadcasters GlobalSimRacingChannel.
The races take place every Tuesday at 7pm EST (4pm PST). Races are broadcast live on the Racing Edge YouTube channel. Each event consists of practice, qualifying and race sessions as well as post-race interviews. Make sure you tune in!
The first four races have seen a huge volume of registrants. Going forward, make sure you get in early to avoid disappointment.
Sim Racing Series sees drama at Le Mans!
Round 5 of the Racing Edge SimRacing Series Season 2 provided an incredibly high standard of racing around Le Mans!

In the RSR GTE category, pole sitter Kaden Bihn and championship leader Alex Simonic put on a must-watch SimRacing battle the $125 top prize. Would Simonic make it four successive wins? Or would Bihn score his first win since Daytona to close the gap in the race for the title?
Could series newcomer JeoHeouck Im cause an upset on his debut? And did Juliano Romagnuolo better his second place at Road Atlanta last week? You'll have to watch the video to find out!
The GT4 category saw a spectacular SimRacing contest full of high-octane racing and incredible drama. Championship leader Andrew Waring, aiming for four straight wins, had to start from the back of the grid. Could he fight back to make it four from four?
Or would pole-sitter Michael Broomhead convert for his first win of the championship? Sam Fellows, Michael Moorley, Sidney Nye and Stephen Sherriff would all play big parts in one of our most exciting races yet. Watch the video to see who came out on top for the $70 top prize.
