With an original low mileage of only 45,000 miles from new, this Porsche 911 E was turned into an Australian historic production sports racing car (Group S) in 2014 using nothing but first-class components and the highest quality engineering.
It showcases a dazzling green/gold livery and is a class-leading car, including one outright win at Winton Motor Raceway in Victoria, Australia.
This 1969 Porsche 911 E features a recently fresh 2.0-liter 911E engine with only approximately 600 run-in miles and one race meeting on the clock. The motor has S pistons and E cams and comes with a fully rebuilt S-spec MFI pump and injectors, brand new from Bosch in Germany.
The matching engine and gearbox were shelved and are included in the sale. The 901 gearbox is short ratio (maximum 205 km/h) with Modena Limited Slip Differentials. A front oil cooler has been installed to improve engine oil cooling.
The Porsche 911 E has an LHD Long wheelbase, while wheels feature six-inch steel/alloy rims. A set of six-inch Fuchs are also available.
A local exhaust system is fitted, which generates torque and BHP over the standard muffler but produces a captivating sound that just belongs on the track.
New Bilstein shockers are included and upped torsion bars provide this Porsche 911 E with a firm ride, coupled with relatively moderate sway bars.
The original steel bumpers have been replaced by fiberglass bumpers and a welded roll cage has been installed for maximum safety. The interior has been stripped but all parts have been retained, with the original seats and panels included in the sale of this Porsche 911 E.
There are Perspex windows throughout the car, except for front quarters and the windscreen which are glass.
The seats are a combination of a race seat and a small 911R seat trimmed in classy McFarlane hunting tartan.
The 1969 Porsche 911 E features all new electrical loom by Prestige Auto Wiring using only the highest-grade components. These include stall light, all LED globes (inside and out) and USB points.
The car has a heater and a two-speed fresh air blower was also installed. In addition, interior lights and engine bay were added.
Originally delivered to California, all the receipts from the previous owner when purchased in 2007 are included.
