The cup-winning Radical SR3 RSX features an RPE-Suzuki 1340cc 4-cylinder DOHC engine (66.92 hours’ usage). It produces 220 bhp and 131 lb-ft of torque at 10,500 rpm. Engine includes four butterfly, 38mm individual throttle body fuel injection system with composite ram-air box. Dry-sump with remote oil reservoir.
Engine also comes with oil cooler and electric water pump to prevent heat soak, stainless steel manifold and exhaust system with race silencer. Upgraded hot climate cooling fan and large 700mm radiator.
Radical SR3 RSX has paddle-activated, auto-blip, pneumatic gear-shift system. With six-speed sequential transverse gearbox and gear drive system with torque-biasing limited slip differential, interchangeable gear ratios and integral reverse gear system. Car features RPE transmission oil pump and radiator, as well as lightweight steel flywheel and multi-plate clutch.
This is a left-hand drive purpose built sportscar. Chassis (141.30 hours’ usage) is powder-coated carbon steel spaceframe with integral safety cell, complying with FIA Safety Structure test. FIA compliant aluminium honeycomb front cash structures and fully adjustable pedal box. Removable forward-facing steel chassis stays and FIA specification 20-gallon (77-liter) fuel cell upgrade. Bodywork on this Radical SR3 RSX made up from black six-piece lightweight gel coat finish fiberglass. Features brand new high-downforce ‘double tunnel’ composite front diffuser with towering eye and central brake ducts connecting carbon composite brake cooling shrouds. New removable high nose front section with 8-LED lighting array, wheel arch louvers front and rear. Composite side pods with air management system/radiator inlet and composite side-skirts. New removable open-deck tail section plus owner’s name on side of cockpit.
Radical SR3 RSX features extensive LED brake/tail lighting and central FIA rain light. Carbon composite high-downforce twin front dive plane upgrade, carbon composite Le Mans-style rear view mirrors and high-downforce bi-plane rear wing. New high-downforce lowered deck angle rear diffuser fitted.
Vehicle’s cockpit includes composite high-sided adjustable driver and passenger seat, FIA compliant HANS compatible seatbelts, composite head restraint with FIA shock-absorbing foam. FIA shock-absorbing foam forward stay head protector upgrade for extra safety. Has manually-activated FIA homologated 3-nozzle Zero 360 gas fire extinguisher system, quick release steering wheel, carbon composite dash surround and dash-mounted brake bias adjuster.
Electronics on this Radical SR3 RSX are AIM MXL2 multifunction backlit LCD display unit with digital gear indicator, internal accelerometer and gyro, 10 LED shift light array and real-time track map location/ambient light sensor. Brake pressure sensor upgrade, suspension logging upgrade and AIM SmartCam HD GPS in-car video module upgrade also fitted.
Radical SR3 RSX features fully-adjustable Nik-link suspension system on front and rear, including unequal length top and bottom wishbones, fabricated uprights, forged steel centre lock hubs and interchangeable anti-roll links. Single-adjustable bespoke mono-tube coil-over damper upgrade.
Brakes are Radical four-pot calipers front and rear with fully floating discs. Car sits on silver Radical centre-lock cast aluminum wheels (8”x15” front, 10.5”x16” rear) and Dunlop bespoke slick racing tires (200/580-R115, 265/605-R16).
