Car was updated from MP4-12C to 650S at the after 2015 for the 2016 season.
The McLaren 650S GT3 is built on a lightweight carbon fiber monocell chassis. McLaren honed the GT3 using CFD technology and the latest automotive and motorsport simulation to offer enhanced aerodynamics and improved levels of cooling. Up front, an aggressive splitter and large air intakes dominate the familiar McLaren 'face', while on the flanks, the lightweight carbon fiber bodywork wraps around with air intakes, which offer further optimized cooling. The fixed carbon fiber rear wing works in tandem with the large carbon fiber splitter to complete the management of air as it is worked across, through and beneath the sleek lines of the 650S GT3.
